Veterans

The word comes from a latin ‘veteranos ’ (“old, of long experience)

The definition of a Veteran:  A veteran is a former member of the Armed Forces of the United States (Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard) who served on active duty and was discharged under conditions, which were other than dishonorable.

A veteran is someone that said yes when he or she was needed when many said no. A veteran is someone that has lived and died for all of us and our country. A veteran is one that you should be thankful for.

A thank you can go a long way. They give up their families, they work far from home and they go when they are called. They come home to a country that is divided that does little for them. They come home with PTSD. The true sign of the health of our entire country is how we treat these fine folks during and after war.

You can do your part by being thankful and saying thanks to the men and women in uniform.
